The influence of the twelve sun signs last for one month of the year. The beginning and ending dates fall pretty close to the dates listed in the below chart.
The changeover from one sign to another does not happen like turning on a switch. There is a period of transition and overlap. Now this is where it gets interesting!
There is a six day period three days on each side of the date that is called the cusp.
For example, the cusp of Aries-Taurus covers the period of April 18th through April 23rd. April 18th Aries influence weakens until April 20th when both Aries and Taurus influence equally. By April 24th only Taurus’s influence is felt.
