Chaldean Numerology

The Chaldean system of numerology is considered by many to be more accurate than the Pythagorean system; however, it is not as widely used.

Chinese Numerology

The ancient Chinese believed that numbers were extremely important. Emperor Wu saw a tortoise, whose shell had a grid containing 9 squares, Chinese numerology is based on this grid system.

The grid was eventually called the Lo Shu Grid wherein the numbers when arranged horizontally, diagonally, or vertically would all total to 15. The significance of this number is that it takes 15 days to shift from new moon to full moon.

Kabbalah Numerology

Kabbalah Numerology is a major branch of numerology originating from the Hebrew culture. According to the traditions of Kabbalah, knowledge comes through the mind and soul and not the flesh and blood. It is based on Hebrew mysticism that interprets the meaning of the name. The discipline itself seeks to explain the nature of the universe and the human being. As Kabbalah numerology is based on the Hebrew alphabet, there is a total of 22 vibrations that range from 1 to 400.

Pythagorean or Western Numerology

In this style of numerology, both the name and the birth date of the individual are used to analyze the personality and characteristics natural to that person. This is the style most commonly used by most numerology report experts today. According to this numerology tradition, the basic vibrations range from one to nine, but 11 and 22 are master numbers that are also important for interpretation.

Tamil Numerology
