Numerology 101

Numerology is the study of numbers, and how they reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies. Numerology is believed to have been originated by Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician. However the actual origins of numerology pre dates him; the most popular being the very old Hebrew Kabbalah.

So what exactly is numerology?

Numerology is perhaps the easiest form of psychic predictions you can use. All that is necessary is a birth date and full name of the person to unlock all you want to know. Numerology charts are constructed using eleven numbers. They are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 22. In the event a larger number occurs it is reduced by adding the digits together until the sum is one of the core (1-9) or master (11 and 22) numbers.

Since numerology determines your life path number a numerology psychic can tell you how to strive for a positive future. By determining your life path number, expression number, and souls urge number they will be able to provide insight and open doors  to your future you had not even considered. Life Path number

Your life path number is the most important number in your psychic profile. It tells the psychic the most about your personality and character traits.

The calculation is based on your birthdate.

The psychic will take your birthday (example: December 5, 1985).

Separate the digits and add them together (example: 12+5+ 1985= 2002).

Separate those digits and add them together (example: 2+0+0+2= 4).

That final result is your Life Path number (example: Number is 4).

Each Life Path number represents positive and negative character traits. For example, the number 1 represents people who are born leaders and described as determined and focused. They also can be arrogant and self-involved.

Expression Number

Your expression number is used by the psychic to help explain your potential and what you should striving for. This is done using a numerology chart. The chart is always the same.

1+1+5+5+7+1+4+4+6+5=39

Since double digits are not used in numerology outside of the Master numbers the psychic will then separate and add those digits until a single digit is reached.

3+9 = 12

1+2= 3

The result will be your expression number. People with the expression number 3 are optimistic, inspirational and expressive.

Soul’s urge number

Also known as the heart’s desire number, this number represents your deepest desires. To find this number a numerology psychic uses the same numerology chart as above. However this time only the vowels of your full name are added.

We will use our previous example of Jane Pam Doe.

If your name has a Y it will be counted as a vowel, unless the y is next to a vowel in the same syllable.

A=1 E=5 A=1 O=6 E=5

1+5+1+6+5= 18

1+8=9
