A Séance is an attempt at communication with spirits.
“Séance” comes from the French word for “seat”, “session” or “sitting”, from the Old French seoir, “to sit”.
A Séance is a meeting of people, who come together to receive messages from ghosts, where a psychic medium can offer services by relaying messages from the spirit the gatherers are trying to reach. People engaged in this meeting do need, and are not always seated.
If you are considering conducting a Séance you will need a few things. First- you have to pick people who are open to the idea of spirits, closed minded people will not help. Make sure there are no children in the circle as the Séance can be scary and too much for a child to healthily comprehend. You will need an oval table, candles and some food. The candles and food are said to help attract the spirits.
It is said that the people joining in the seance should be divisible by three. There has to be at least three people in order to be considered an actual Séance.
It is said to be exhausting for the participants if fewer then three people are present. You need to find a reputable psychic medium. The medium has to be one of the participants gathered at the Séance and should have prior experience. Light at least three candles in the middle of the your table.
