The Upcoming Total Solar Eclipse
There is only going to be one total solar eclipse this year. It will not be the only event happening in the sky at the time. On Dec. 14, just hours after the peak of the Geminids day will turn to night over South America.
Most of the eclipse will transpire over the unpopulated waters of the southern Atlantic Ocean and the southeastern Pacific Ocean, but the path of totality will traverse across a swath of South America. The locations able to witness the total solar eclipse will be very close to the areas that saw the only total solar eclipse of 2019 (between La Serena, Chile and Buenos Aires Argentina.)
There are many ancient legends about the effects of a total solar eclipse on the human body. While not everything is backed up by science, it’s often important to understand what impact this eclipse can have on you, and your spirit. In astrology, the light of the sun represents life and energy. The sun is most closely associated with the self, personality, and ego, and what it is that makes you unique. It’s also been said to foster creative ability and provide people with the power to meet the challenges of everyday life.
According to spiritual research, the total eclipse of the sun can cause feelings of tiredness or sickness. It’s also not advised to make big decisions during this time period because of the impact it can have on your mood. Some people believe that the solar eclipse can wreak havoc on your digestion. This is why extremely spiritual people choose to avoid meals and practice fasting during a total solar eclipse. There are reports of increased agitation, unusual dreams, sudden bursts of creativity, and even relationship difficulties during a solar eclipse.
It is important to remember that while observing the total solar spectacular, eclipses produce harmful rays that can cause blindness.
