Near the end of the month, two of the brightest planets will meet up in the evening sky. On November 24, 2019. Venus, the brighter of the two, passes a mere 1.4 degrees south of Jupiter. If you hold your arm straight out in front of you and look at the width of your index finger that is how close, they will pass. The two will appear so close that they will appear in the same field of view of most binoculars and telescopes. Venus will be the brighter of the two objects. These two enemies will not conjunction again until February of 2021.
