Ever hear about Voodoo? Yet you have zero clue what it really is, so what is it you ask? Voodoo is a religious practice that comes from parts of the Caribbean and southern US, African magic combined with Roman Catholic rituals, African magic with religious ritual through sorcery, and spiritual means.
Voodooist believe that there is an invisible and visible world. Meaning that they believe death is the invisible world and when people die they are spirits who stay with us and guide us. Voodoo was practiced first in America by African slaves and the religion was feared and ridiculed because Slaves were not considered fully human. People believed that the voodooist priests were witch-doctors and their spirits were evil.
What are Voodoo dolls?
Voodoo dolls are known to be creepy little dolls that many people fear, however the doll in itself is not what causes the Voodoo, attaching a picture or lock of hair to the doll then sticking a pin in it is what symbolizing the pain.
Voodoo includes practices such as readings, spiritual baths, prayers, and ceremonies. Many people see Voodoo as negative because of movies or tv shows showing only the dark aspects of voodooism however only a bad few use this for negative practice’s, it is mainly used to cure anxiety, addictions, depression, loneliness, and also to help with hunger and sicknesses.
Its cool to see the negative side of things in movies, music, and tv shows, but its 95% used for good rather then evil.
